i've learnt that before every experiment takes place, there are certain steps and measures that we have to take to ensure that the apparatus used are not contaminated with other solution. this is to ensure and satisfy the needs of the experiment in order for it to be accurate. : )

i've also recalled all the apparatus being used for the different types of experiments such as separation, titration.. etc...

To have attended the lesson on handling practial's just now after chemistry lesson , all the memories of sitting for SPA for o levels came back. the steps taken to prepare the titration method and also to complete the experiment was rather an okay task. : ) the most troublesome thing was when i overshot. my neutralised solution was suppose to turn pale pink bt it was slightly darker. however, i repeated the experiment twice and the answer was rather weird. though that occured, ms chan said that if there is a consistant value among the readings, it isn't my fault as both the results had only a difference of 0.1 cm3 : ) hurray!. the hardest part was the calculation because after months of not doing chemistry, i forgot how to calculate the question asked which was actually a frequent question given by during a titation experiment is being held.
